The Ambassador of Belarus pays a visit to Dornod aimag

On May 30 — June 3, 2022, Dzmitry Harelik, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Mongolia paid a visit to Dornod aimag in order to hold meetings with the heads of the aimag and the city of Choibalsan, as well as to participate in the events dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 83rd anniversary of the Victory in the Battle of Khalkhin Gol.

During the meetings with the chairman of the Khural of civilian representatives of the Dornod aimag M.Enkhtur, the deputy governor of the aimag, Sh.Yol, the head of the administration of the aimag Kh.Bat-Erdene, the deputy governor of the Kherlen somon B.Lhagvasuren and the deputy Mayor of Choibalsan Ts.Enkhbileg the parties discussed promising directions for intensification of bilateral cooperation, including the supply of Belarusian agricultural, road repair and municipal equipment.

During a visit to secondary school No. 2 of the city of Choibalsan named after. twice Hero of the Soviet Union S.I. Gritsevets and the monument to the Soviet pilots who took part in the battle of Khalkhin Gol, wreath-laying ceremonies were held with the participation of the military guard. The Belarusian side reached an agreement with the director of the school, R. Zhargaltuya, to organize the education of 2-3 graduates of the school in Belarus at the expense of grants provided by Belarus to the citizens of Mongolia.

A meeting was held with the governor of KhalkhinGol somon D.Khurelerdene and the chairman of the Khural of civil representatives of the somon E.Byambazhargal, the Mongolian side is interested in developing cooperation in the field of agriculture.

A wreath-laying ceremony was held at the monument to the Victory in the Battle of Khalkhin Gol, the delegation visited the museum of military glory.
