Events, dedicated to the 120th Anniversary of Marshal Zhukov’s Birthday, took place in Ulaanbaatar

On December 1st, 2016 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Mongolia Mr. Stanislav Chepurnoy and Belarusian diplomats together with the Ministry of Defense of Mongolia and the Embassy of Russia in Mongolia placed wreaths to the Memorial for the Marshal of
the Soviet Union G.Zhukov in Ulaanbaatar.
The ceremony was dedicated to the 120th Anniversary of Marshal Zhukov’s Birthday.
The Deputy Minister of Defense of Mongolia Mr. Togooch Dulamdorj, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Mongolia Mr. Iskander Azizov, representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Mongolia and the Russian diplomats took part at the above mentioned event.
On the same day on behalf of the Belarusian Embassy Mr. Stanislav Chepurnoy handed to the G.Zhukov’s Museum over the photographies, concerned to the G.Zhukov’s service at the Belarusian Military Region and his teaching activity at the Belarusian State University.
The Ambassador of Belarus also took part at the ceremony of rewarding the winners of the children's drawings competition, devoted to the 120th Anniversary of Zhukov’s Birthday.
