On the participation of the Ambassador of Belarus Stanislav Chepurnoy in the solemn ceremony of the transfer of fire-fighting machines

On October 7th, 2020 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Mongolia Mr. Stanislav Chepurnoy took part in the solemn ceremony of handing over to the units of the National Emergency Management Agency of Mongolia (hereinafter — NEMA) the first part of fire-fighting and rescue machines on MAZ chassis, delivered under the General Agreement between Governments of Belarus and Mongolia on providing an export credit.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia Mr. Yangug Sodbaatar, the head of the NEMA Brigadier General Mr. Gombojav Ariunbuyan, acting Mayor of Ulanbaatar Mr. Zhantsan Batbayasgalan.

In his welcoming speech, Mr. Stanislav Chepurnoy positively assessed the state of cooperation between Belarus and Mongolia, stressing the particular importance of the successful implementation of the project for the supply of Belarusian fire-fighting machines.

After the ceremony, the Ambassador answered questions from representatives of the Mongolian media, informing about the progress of this project, as well as about the prospects for the development of trade and economic cooperation between two countries.

A short conversation took place between Ambassador Mr. S.Chepurnoy and the Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia Y.Sodbaatar, during which the practical implementation of the project for the modernization of the NEMA machinery park was discussed.
